    Jackson Purchase Distillery (JPD)

    JPD, founded in 2021, is one of the fastest growing contract distillers in the US. The Hickman KY based company with offices at the distillery and downtown Louisville is seeking an experienced sales executive to lead their contract distilling sales program.

    Situated In the farthest reaches of Western Kentucky, along the Mississippi River where Kentucky meets Tennessee and Missouri, JPD is quietly producing some of the finest bourbon in the Bluegrass State. Led by an all-star team featuring legendary Master Distiller Craig Beam and Assistant Master Distiller Terry Ballard, Jackson Purchase has just completed a $25 million expansion, allowing the distillery to ramp up production to meet soaring demand. Your job is to keep this momentum moving forward now and into the future.

    Key Qualifications

    · You have a passion for and a deep understanding of the spirits industry

    · You have established relationships with people throughout the spirits and bourbon category

    · A successful sales track record in the spirits industry

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Client Relationships – you will be in regular contact with current customers to maintain customer satisfaction, keep them informed about their whiskey, deepen our relationship and facilitate growth in their purchases from JPD.

    2. New Clients – Attract and build relationships with new clients

    3. Competitive Landscape – Develop and maintain a complete understanding of the competitive landscape within the contract distilling market. You will know who’s selling, who’s buying, and have an up-to-date pricing comparison of all contract distillers.

    4. Communication – You will keep the JPD executive team up-to-date on all of the above on a regular basis. This will be achieved through regular direct contact and consistent use of CRM software.

    Some Key Details

    · You can base out of our distillery in Hickman, KY or our new office in Louisville, KY

    · Travel will be a part of the job and we expect it to be about 40% of your time

    · You will supervise and work with our sales administrator

    · Compensation will be highly competitive with similar positions in the spirits industry and commensurate with your experience. In addition, we offer a full benefits package including medical, dental, life, disability insurance, 401K, paid holidays, paid vacation/personal time.

    Key Qualifications

    • Experience in a marketing and sales support or administrative role

    • Strong organizational abilities to manage tasks, documents, and deadlines effectively

    • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and documentation

    • Have experience with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other pertinent sales tools

    • Proactive and able to work independently

    Key Responsibilities

    • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing information and addressing concerns professionally

    • Manage CRM program

    • Generate sales reports

    • Provide administrative support to the marketing and sales team

    • Assist with the preparation of presentations and trade show planning
